CORE becomes the second .coop RegistrarOn January 17, 2002 CORE became the second Registrar offering .coop registrations.
The new .coop TLD is restricted for use by only "bona fide cooperatives and cooperative service organisations". Only cooperatives, cooperative service organisations and wholly owned subsidiaries of cooperatives will be eligible to use the .coop domain names.
